Megatech Gladiator
I got this rig from True a few months ago, it was in storage in the container from hell,
when I got it we did a complete tear down and cleaning,I fixed a couple minor things, and we replaced all the screws we could with good hex screws, was not too bad, it went back together like a dream.
the engine was a little dirty from sitting but it cleaned up real nice and has a ton of compression left in it, it started right up and runs well, all the diffs were repacked with thick grease all the bearings were cleaned and reoiled.
I ordered a new body from the net, it is an HPI MT2 F 350 body for the nitro MT series. I really like how this paint job turned out... thought up the wing and fabbed up the mounts from an old Tamiya TL01 parts tree we had laying around.
I also got some new wheels and tires while I was at it, the old tires were flatspotted and besides the terrain I run on is rough and it needed some better tires for traction, the wheels are Traxxas ,and the tires are Losi Smashers. ok here are a few pics , before and after.
this is right out of the box True shipped it in,
Body off shot
see was just dirty from sitting
see all torn down
engine is pretty clean , just a little clean up needed
All clean , waiting on engine and radio gear
All ready for the new body. wheels and tires are sweet. and the wing makes the whole Truggy theme work well
New body masked up waiting paint
front end all masked up...
Sweet Paint , I love how it came out
side view outdid himself masking this one.... sweet job....
See the TRB4L sticker there on the wing
Hope ya like how it came out, I will get some vid next time we go bashin.....

Thanks Guys, it was fun bringing the truck back into what it is now. I ran it once but the plug went away and I had no spare, but now it is all new and ready to bash. I just finished gluing the tires up yesterday , all I got left to do is install the Tiger Drive Starter and it is all done, I may get to it this weekend.....
