Me and Jason been doing some work in the cave. put up a few new shelves and got rid of the floor shelves that were here before. now all my trucks and cars are on the shelves above my desk with my ToolBoxes along the back wall like i wanted to do,. looks alot cleaner and will open up the floor space quite a bit. here is a few :pix of what we have got done so far.... also the shop is well lighted with 2 4ft florescent lights on each side so no more dim dark cave to work in, was well worth the work it took so far , I am really pleased with the look and space it gives me, I will be putting all my signs up on the ceiling soon and my pictures up on the wall....

Gonna put another shelf right below the last lower one all around too, that way there is plenty of shelf room so my boys aint too crowded in there, then we are gonna build a corner desk into the wall there and will be a sweet setup.....
A BIG THANKS TO JASON for all his help with this mess so far.....

Well we got the 3rd shelf in, now on to the desk, hope to start on it this friday or saturday depending on how jason is feeling. the small craftsman toolbox is gonna move so I can add another shelf above the desk and a small bench on the right side...I also have a new tv coming for the cave, is a 22" lcd/led backlit Magnavox flat screen , Momma has been nice about letting me finish the garage up, next after the desk is the attic ladder unit I picked up today, then alot of the junk sitting around in here is goin into the attic....

:pix of the 3rd shelf in place

Well Jason and i spent the better part of today putting up the desk, one more shelf to go and will be all done ...

First thing we did was lagscrew a couple of cleats on the walls to support the back of the desk....
My New Man Cave Setup DSCN5088

next we put on the tops and screwed em to the cleats

Next was a box on each end for support on the outside, one on the right gets 2 shelves. the left side will house the CPU and maybe a small shelf above....

My New Man Cave Setup DSCN5093
this is the right side support and shelves

looking down the long side, is 80 inches to the wall and the short side is 3 ft so the desk is pretty big....

now we got 1 more L shelf to go right above the tv and Monitor and is all done. Many Thanks go out to Jason for all his help. I am so happy with how it came out.......

Hope ya like what we did with the cave, Thanks for looking
