Carson 1/4 scale go cart

This is my lil Carson Go Cart. I got it in a yard sale along with the for my 1/8 Buggy. paid 80 bux for the lot, and just got done ordering the new parts for it so I figgered is a good time to make a thread. I also just got the FlySky 2.4 gig radio , along with that I got a second receiver and also a couple servos for my IRC 1/16 buggy and the Mini T....

so here is the Cart first. It is made in Germany and there are not many that I have seen around in fact I never had seen it before. and ya know me and vintage and Rare R/C stuff. I just hadda have this lil in my collection...... was pretty rough when I got it.








Drive gears missing, clutch and bell missing, rear tires and wheels missing. Radio system trashed... alot of work needing done, and ya like the 2 3/4 inch impact sockets on the rear end there. silly musta not known about the ball diff

found alot of stuff at a main, and it was on sale. got the clutch and rear tires and wheels also got some new front tires and wheels also. Took the whole lil cart apart and cleaned it all, put on the new rear tires and cleaned the .15 force all up, lil bugger has alot of pinch left and was really clean inside, guess they didnt run it much but the front bumper was wasted so they hammered on it somewhat... I just ordered the rest of the plastics on MRC online, so when they get here it will be done finally. now maybe I can run it some down at the parking lot ...

the radio system I just got this week, is a FlySky GT2 2.4 system. should make a nice addition to the cart , is even blue just like the plastics so I am happy with that....








Here is how it sits right now. will update the thread when the new plastics arrive hopefully this week sometime I hope....

Ok I got all my parts, was fast shipping, took 3 days from Edison NJ. and that includes the weekend. THANKS MRC. U R the Best !!!!

so all the new bumper and side pods are SWEET!!!, and the side pod I was worried about fitting my gear hub is a non issue, fits Perfectly....

and the driver.... looks like he is ready to go. now the Radio gear can go in. I will post a couple pics of that too, then on to startup. i hope it runs well....



and No Swampy ya can't have it but ya can still buy one new from MRC for about 300 some bux so buy ur own this one is Mine Mine Mine!!!!!!!!

And swamp when u do go to take hes cart, "let me know" I'll take the mini zilla off hes ! Thats way to of a toy for him ..

we could always send him pics after the fact when they are all busted up, hence actually getting them off his shelf queen status.

nice job rebuilding that lil cart pop she sure was a mess when ya got her nice to some one who cares rebuild a sick lil car like that. nice job cant wait to see her go
