XTM MMT TRUGGY KILLER
This is the MMT I got in trade with Carlos....
Has alot of goodies on it from the factory. Dual steering servos, a sweet Cirrus radio system. I installed a failsafe just in case she loses signal...
this truck comes with twin chassis braces on the rear and a chassis brace up front too. so there is little if any flex in the chassis. also has a 2 speed center with steel spurs. the engine is an XTM 28, basically is an SH full tuned here.
I scored a set of Losi 420 Super Bolt on tires and also scored a set of wheels off e bay for the new tires to go on, they are 3/4" offset so it makes the truck wider and should be alot more stable.... Here is a few of what I have goin on. Look the fuck out Carlos this Big Boy means business
here it is without the body on. as i got it outta the shipping box
Head on shot...
Tail end shot...
Shot of the 2 speed and the
Shot of the out of the chassis
Shot of the New wheels and tires. really makes the truck if ya ask me. I love the way they set the stance of the chassis too
Side view with the new wheels and tires on it
Top view showing the width difference. notice the right side and then the left side , quite a difference there
Looking at it head on with the new wheels and tires. looks mean as hell...
Hope ya all like seeing the way she looks now. sure wish the rain would stop for a week so the puddles go away.....I wanna see how this changes how it handles....

Jason did a sweet masking job on this one and I the flame job is too we did 3 bodys yesterday and the other 2 are for Jasons rigs.... one is a FIRST BLOOD 8 going on the USA 1 Electric and the other is SGT SPEED for his hot rod trx stadium truck.... Hope ya like em we sure are happy with them

Re: XTM MMT TRUGGY KILLER
Well after stripping down that other Mammoth I decided to take some parts for the MMT the center skid i was gonna use but it is different but the steering knuckles fit and so did the rear hubs so on they went next is the shock towers they are goin on also, the shocks on the other mammoth are different too so they stay with that rig too. the aluminum a arms are staying with the Mammoth too, so it will be pretty blinged out when is done , but I got a few of some Losi LST shocks on the MMT and I thats what im gonna do. so will be more modding this winter..... Maybe some custom aluminum arms and some JRP upper links will make the call to this MMT Truck time will tell on to some of what I got so far
with one Losi shock mocked up , i it will work we will soon
I will keep this thread updated as i go along with the MMT hope ya like the

Re: XTM MMT TRUGGY KILLER
Well I did clean the truck real good, serviced all 8 shocks and Modded the springs so they fit the perches better by grinding the ends to make a smoother transition and hopefully prevent the springs from cocking on the perch, all the bearings got cleaned and reoiled and is ready for the running gear to be installed so she is ready for battle next time

Re: XTM MMT TRUGGY KILLER
We went to the water park today I took the and did some running. me and put a ramp at the top of the big hill and jumped off a few times.... did manage to break a body post doin that, then afterwards we were runnin out on the flats and I was a loooooooon way away from the MMT and went around a concrete light pole and next thing I do is run smack into the ...... managed to break the front left lower arm and the front shock tower rite the fuck off the truck, hit so hard that the left tire wheel came back and hit the tank breakin off one of the mounts on that too......
the tank mount is broke off and the lower arm and tower too.....
there is a good shot of the tank mount that got ripped off..... Hope ya enjoy the CARNAGE ya can never say I dont run the hard thats for sure
Yes I did get some vids too, will be posting some prolly next week so early

Re: XTM MMT TRUGGY KILLER
Well after my BRAIN FART on saturday I fixed the tank I broke the ear off of, I also put on a new a arm and fixed everything else. now im waiting on the shock towers to arrive from jolly old london england...... I got a pair of em just in case i have another brain fart while driving here is a couple of how I repaired the tank mount, just needs a small spacer on the bottom to compensate for the mount bein a lil higher.....
thats b4 I ground it down and cleaned it up....
this is after I fixed it, I ground the tab off and used a lil piece of 1/8x1/2x1/2 aluminum angle and shaped it with my dremel and a small file. then used some plumbers goop to stick it in place and ziptied it down till it was dry, notice I drilled it to let the goop get a good bond with the tank and bracket... I am hopin it will stay fixed thanks for

Re: XTM MMT TRUGGY KILLER
Well I fixed the and it is now ready to run again. new parts included a lower arm and the front shock tower and repairing the fuel tank mount. I it came out pretty good....
Thats the tower i had to get from London England of all places
Thats the lower arm I had in my parts bin
thats how I fixed the mount on the tank, just used a small spacer underneath and it all fits perfectly..... The tank worked out I was even able to use a piece of fuel tube inside the mount hole to provide isolation from vibration....
Hope ya like the zzzzzzz
