XTM XT 2 Buggy

Well Carlos and I made another trade, I sent him my diesel engine compression test set and he sent me this sweet XTM XT 2 Roller with radio gear and a sweet 1200 mah hump battery for the radio, it has an Airtronics MX3 Radio and a nice micro receiver to boot, also it came with a sweet set of Proline Knuckles tires and a decent set of Crimefighters all mounted and ready to go. I am in the process of cleaning it up, and getting ready to try the XTM 24.7 in it that I found in a local yard sale and see how it runs.....

first up is the Radio. sweet MX3 Airtronics setup

I did a lil more on the Buggy today, gettin closer to run day, still need a couple things , but by next weekend it will be ready to start and check out how she runs.....



here ya can see the sealant on the carb pinch bolt. sucker aint gonna leak air I sealed it up good both sides and the carb base too....

I am gonna be bump starting this on my box so thats why no string on the pullstarter. is only there to hold the shaft in ain't I also not done with the engine , gotta pull it one more time to put on the header spring, thats why one ziptie is missing on the pipe coupler.
Hope ya like how she looks, I am Happy with it so far, now if only the runs well I will have a fine buggy to play with......

Ok this Buggy is now ready to run again. the and clutch and pipe all on, all I gotta go is put on a couple zipties and get another motor screw for it.

Damn even the pre filter is pink : ........ But it will do the same job other filters would so ur ok their.

I knew ya would have something to say about that , reason the pre filter is pink is cause the oil on it is pink, I did it just for U

I got the buggy fired up today, took a few minutes for it to get used to running again I , was a lil tough to get fired on the first try, but I had set the needles back to breakin settings so that maybe was part of it. but I got it fired up and made a lil video, sorry the camera is shaky but I was runnin it and the radio and trying to keep it in frame.....

Hope ya enjoy it. I am sure looking forward to running it this spring.

Engine Sounds : buggy sure came out badass too. I bet them tires havent yet touch the ground too huh . Well run it an see how it does?

Nope tires never seen dirt yet, as far as running it, I do plan on it but ma nature is bein a with all this rain. everything is underwater so hold on ur PANTIES U will soon enuff

The xt2 looks bad ass pop that yard sale 247 is a killer score with how it runs.i cant wait to see her in action on the track in ukiah this summer

It really doesn't matter how the head is on the it still has air flowing thru it. thanks for the tip tho tye.... and at least I can keep it running more than 1/4 tank b4 something breaks unlike some guys who I know
